Facts you should know about Cable before you watch Deadpool 2.

Deadpool 2 the kick ass movie which is about to released world wide on 18th of May 2018. You must have seen the trailer of the movie Deadpool 2 and you might be meandering who the heck is this Cable Guy?

 Here are some info about Cable that you should know before you see Deadpool 2.

Cable's Origin:-

Cable's origin can be cited as one of the most intricate story of the Marvel franchise. You might be surprised after knowing the fact that, the Cable aka Nathan Summer is the child of  Scott Summer aka Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor who is Evil clone of Jean Grey(Totally different story of  Jean Grey. Check on internet if really interested).

Nathan Summer's birth was meticulously planned by one of the notorious villain whose name is Mr. Sinister. He knew that if Cyclops and Jean Grey would ever had a child, the child would be ridiculously strong. But Mr. Sinister was not alone to know this amazing fact, Apocalypse had also had an inkling of it.

Nathan infected by Techno-Organic Virus

After the birth of Nathan Summer's, Apocalypse sent his hinge man to capture him. After abducting Nathan, he was infected with Techno-Organic Virus by Apocalypse, cause of which the virus started to eat up the organic tissues and replaced them with the cybernetic material. Because of the Techno-Organic Virus, Cable looks like half cyborg and half human.


You might recall the movie X-men: Apocalypse. In the movie Apocalypse wanted to transfer his spirit into the body of Charles Xavier, in order to insure his survival. Similarly, Apocalypse knew about the power of Nathan and wanted to transfer his spirit into him.


When Cyclops got aware of the abductor of his son, he took all the forces along with him to fight Apocalypse which included, X-men and Inhumans.

After the death defying battle with Apocalypse. A mysterious women appears and told Cyclops in order to save Nathan, she has to take him to the future. As the Techno - Virus was eating up his tissues, it was only matter of time until he dies. Cyclops accepted the offer made by the mystery women, who was Cyclops and Jean Grey's Daughter named Askani who was from another timeline. Now that's a bummer.

Deal with the Cable's Clone:


  • When Cable was taken into the future 1000 - 2000 years ahead of the current timeline. The health of Nathan was critical, to save his life a clone was created and consciousness of the cable was supposed to be put into the body of the clone. 
  • It turns out to be again Apocalypse was ruling the future and he got aware of the powers of Nathan, and again he sent his hinge men's to abduct Nathan. But this time, However, they brought back the wrong body, which was later raised by Apocalypse and was named as Stryfe who also had immense power.

I know all this Time Travel shit is hard to swallow but anywho, we just have to wait till Movie comes out and clears out the Clone and time shit mystery for us.

Cable's Power:-

Cable who had been titled to be one of the puissant mutant of all time, have some very esoteric power story.


  • Cable is said to be having Telekinesis and Telepathic abilities, but unfortunately these abilities are constantly keeping Techno-Organic virus away from eating up his whole body tissues and transforming him into a Robot.
  • He does have a Time Travelling device which is said to be often used by him to travel different time spaces to defeat the Apocalypse.

  • It is also claimed that he can predict the future. As the poster of Deadpool 2 depicts, likewise Deadpool, Cable is also fond of Ammunition and guns. But as Cable is traveling back from the future to present, he'll surely carry some awesome futuristic guns

  • Finally, His Cyborg arm increase his strength and also acts like a shield.
  • The story of Cable is a real big deal to unfold and present it in front of audience. It would be interesting to know the true nature of Cable. I hope this information about the Cable was useful and brain blowing.
